We have no problem understanding basic "common sense" actions out in the real world. If you have ever waterskied and fell, we have little hesitance AUTOMATICALLY letting go of the rope because we understand the consequences of holding on. I...f we were to say that we want to hold on and try to get back up while being drug behind the boat, most people would say "Good luck with that!" We need to let go, REPOSITION OURSELVES and let the boat come back around for another run. Yet in our own personal lives and in our thoughts and emotions we completely disregard this common sense. We hold on to the detriment of only ourselves and our well-being. No one in the boat or on the shore get hurt watching this play out, but it is not like that in our personal lives. We definitely affect others by holding onto things that do not serve us.
I choose to believe we were not put on this planet to suffer. We are here to have joy, happiness and abundance. Yet we are backing up into the future holding on tightly to a huge box that is full of "BLAME AND SHAME." FORGIVENESS means to LET GO completely and unequivocally. Just doing this one thing will shift one's life immensely in the direction closer to a deeper sense of peace and happiness, and I think we all could do with a little more of that. It is our conditioning, our experiences, our backgrounds that tell us what we feel is right and wrong. The red and gray in this picture represents ULTIMATE REALITY. It is the background in the picture that shows how ULTIMATE REALITY looks to us.
